We are excited to announce a Community Event involving UTS Bats, Terrigal-Avoca Panthers and Central Coast Kids in Need. The Event will by led by Ex-Swans Player and Head Coach of the UTS Bats, Kevin Dyson.

‘The Project’ Channel 10 segment with Rhonda and Lorraine from Central Coast Kids in Need aired on 26 April, 2022.

GreaterBank are offering The Adam (Molch) Hillier Surf Classic a financial boost, with a potential share of $3,000. Please cast your votes between Monday 2nd August and Wednesday 1st September 2021.

Lorraine has had the privilege of being nominated for the Westfield Local Hero’s by local artist Grant Molony. Voting commences on Tuesday 10th August and ends 30th August 2021.

Central Coast Bulldogs are planning a Charity Race Day in support of Central Coast Kids in Need.

Central Coast Kids in Need were invited to attend Shelly Beach Ladies Golf Charity Day on Wednesday 21 April 2021.

On the day they raised $8,000 for CCKIN with raffles and auctions.

In all the years of attending functions, we have never seen one like it. The amount of prizes was outstanding.

Central Coast Kids in Need were the recent recipients of a very generous grant of $16,000 from East Gosford-Lisarow-Kincumber, Wyong and Ettalong Branches of the Bendigo Bank.

Central Coast Kids in Need were invited to a Volunteers Thank You Luncheon in February, 2021. The event was held at Wamberal Surf Club, hosted by ‘Member for Terrigal’ and ‘Parliamentary Secretary’ Adam Crouch, with special guest ‘The Premier’ Gladys Berejikllan. 

We are saddened to hear that Friends of the Creek are winding down and there will be no more Charity Bike Rides. Since 2016, this amazing group of community minded people have worked tirelessly with passion and commitment to raise $90,000 for CCKIN, to assist families of seriously ill children here on the Central Coast.

Local children’s author and storyteller, Lindy Mitchell-Nilsson has kindly donated 65 copies of each of her books: ‘The Fairy that Sneezed’ set in Wyabolong National Park and ‘The Elf that Could Fly’ set in Katandra Reserve, on the Central Coast.

On 23 February 2021, Rotary Club of The Entrance held a draw for their Community Raffle. Over 40 Clubs and Organisations took part in selling tickets for the event. A big thank you to all the Sponsors who donated prizes.

On Friday 7 August 2020, staff at the 7 x Wyong Rugby Leagues Club Group Clubs, held a fundraiser and wore jeans for Posie.

Shaz’s Sewing Angels, a generous, community minded group from Toukley have been busy making masks, and donating them to keep people safe during COVID.

On Monday 24 August 2020, both Loz and Rhonda from Central Coast Kids in Need, were invited to attend a meeting with Parliamentary Secretary/Member for Terrigal, Adam Crouch.
